Mass Production-The Death of Trends

These Trends have been so mass-produced I gag when I see them(literally) Sadly they all started of cute and innovative, how ever now they are dead have been buried and risen from the dead now I urge you to cut the head of these zombie fashions so they can be gone for good before they start eating our brains THANKS!!

Kefiyah Scarves

Unless you live in the middle east and need this scarf to protect you from harsh desert winds.....please put your kefiyah up. This trend has been dead for quite some time, but it seems those who FEEL fashionably inclined will not let it go. But when food guru and champion of middle-aged housewives Rachel Ray is wearing it in a Dunkin Donuts advertisement the cool factor is diminished to say the least. I get it ok, it was a cute/inexpensive way to jazz up a t-shirt, but there are other ways people try a brooch or pashmina both very classy looks, or just wear the t-shirt plain(boys)...I really don't care what you do just put the kefiyah away until your trip to Dubai......

KNOCK-OFFS

I never really understood why people wear fakeness, I mean who are you trying to impress??The people who actually think its real are unfamiliar with luxury goods and have probably never owned themselves, and people who know the brand will be able to spot a fake quickly....Plus...its just wack to be a poser...Instead by something that looks nice on you, it doesnt have to be Goachi, or Chantel bag, just get a nice leather bag...RESPECT(the way Jamaicans use it)
Hervé Léger Isabelle bandage dress
The Real Herve Leger....
...and the fake one

The Lumberjack look

Plaid hats, shirts, dresses, kefiyahs(double offense), shorts, pants, skirts, rompers...I have seen enough people, the brawny look  was briefly  cute splashed in with other solid pieces...but thewhole plaid fits make me want to throw an ax at you.......Went  from this

....to this :(
The Maxi-Dress

I will admit two years ago i thought Maxi Dresses were sent by the Gods...a marriage between cuteness and comfort it was retro and quite fashionable...That was until forever 21 started selling them in every imaginable color, print, fabric, and silhouette. Now its become the uniform of Mothers, the pleasantly plump, teenagers, Sr. citizens(my grandma bought one from dress barn)...its so generic now so.....over(sigh)...This is one trend even I don't want let go of(secretly still rocking my maxi's too), but its over, I am still searching for an maxi dresses that will allow me to go completely commando but still look tasteful and haute, I will keep you posted......

still love it, but have to let go
